VAPAC LAUNCHES LR HUMIDIFIER SERIES |

Vapac has boosted its humidifier portfolio with the launch of the feature-laden LR (LON Resistance) range of humidifiers, which incorporates full LONworks™ compatibility.
The LR range of humidifiers is designed to cope with variable water qualities including de-mineralised, softened or mains tap water. Its patented VapaNet management system controls the mineral concentration of the water and monitors it continuously.
Front-mounted, the VapaNet display provides user information at a glance. The LR can also be equipped with Vapac's own brand proportional duct or space sensors and accepts all standard industry control signals.
Seven models are available in the range. The smallest, LR05 offers a maximum of 5Kg/hr steam output. At the top end of the range the LR60 offers 60Kg/hr steam output.

Maintenance
Maintenance is a key feature of the LR series. The cylinders are constructed of stainless steel to reduce the frequency of replacement. In addition the use of de-mineralised water maintains steam production thereby providing almost "maintenance-free" cylinders as the only disturbance comes from cold water feeds.
The units can be networked using the LON network to form a master/slave system up to a maximum of 10. A fully proportional humidifier acts as the master and controls all the slaves as on/off devices. The units do not have to have the same outputs to be networked.
